Dear Reader:
Thank you for visiting my blog. Please feel free to browse, read, and comment.
I’m a blogger in pursuit of truth. TruGlobalist is a blog that promotes democracy, justice, peace, faith, diplomacy, and human rights. This blog is a compilation of my understanding of national and international phenomena. My focus is clear. To provide commentary and asides from the perspective of a reluctant writer.
Politically, I’m a Centrist. I adhere to pragmatism not partisanship.
I am the son of parents who migrated to this country during the early 70′s; after their arrival they made this land their home. I am a proud Hispanic-American.
I obtained a degree in Sociology/Psychology; thus adding to my understanding of socially oriented political happenings. Journalistically I honed my craft via courses such as: Journalism, Feature Writing, Journalism Workshop, Nonfiction writing and Blogging.
I am a voracious reader who appreciates the power of the written word. Some of my favorite books are: Witness by Whittaker Chambers, A Personal Odyssey by Thomas Sowell, Happy Days Were Here Again by William F. Buckley Jr., Making War to Keep Peace by Jeane J. Kirkpatrick, The Elements of Story by Francis Flaherty, The Bible, The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini, The Chosen by Chaim Potok and others.
The writings of Charles Krauthammer, William F. Buckley Jr., Maureen Dowd, and Thomas Sowell have influenced and enriched my own writings.
In my writings I uphold the standards of accuracy, fairness and ethics. I avert my gaze from rancorous debate, and shield my ears from illogical invective. What is needed in politics today more than ever, is vitality of truth and the reawakening of civility. This is what I strive for.
There are over six billion people in the world today. Our mission is to bring you their stories. No gimmicks just opinioned facts. Tune in.
